Full Stack Developer

  • Improved the notification system by allowing the users to directly interact with it and handle whatever was required right there no matter where they were on the page. Decreased the time users had to spend going somewhere else on our app to handle what was needed. Additionally, shifted the logic behind the notification system to allow for many different types, improving scalability.
  • Reconstructed the whole chat feature to facilitate complex client requests and made it more visually appealing. The goal was to shift our users from using external chats to our chat system and add features within the chat that allow the users to easily interact with our app and fulfill their needs.
  • Collaborating in actively creating/improving our latest project towards our clients. Creating a robust system that could handle many different users with different approaches and needs in a single service.

Nasa Project

App that retrieves habitable kepler exoplanets from a CSV file. Schedule future launches to these exoplanets and retrieve past launches from a NASA API. All stored in MongoDB. The project was containerized using docker and launched using AWS EC2.
